The 13A 2-Gang IP66 Weatherproof Outdoor Switched Socket DSIP66C provides a robust and practical power solution for gardens, workshops, garages and other suitable outdoor or demanding environments. Featuring two 13A socket outlets within a high-impact weather-resistant housing, it allows electrical equipment to be connected while providing additional protection against water ingress.

The enclosure carries an IP66 rating and is manufactured from a durable, UV-stable material designed to withstand challenging conditions. Its enclosed design helps protect the electrical connections, making it suitable for outdoor power applications where a conventional indoor socket would not provide adequate protection.

Installation flexibility is provided by cable entry options on all four sides of the housing, with removable blanking caps supplied for unused entries. A drill-out entry is also provided on the rear face, allowing the installer to select the most appropriate cable route for the application.

Inside the mounting box are two earth terminals, along with clearly marked terminals and captive screws to help simplify connection. Two rubber wall-fixing seal covers are included to help maintain protection against water ingress around the mounting points.

The housing can also accept compatible alternative modules from the BG Grid range, providing additional configuration flexibility. An optional padlocking facility allows the cover to be secured where required.

Please note: wall fixings and padlock are not supplied. The socket is rated at 13A with a listed supply voltage of 250V 50Hz AC and should be installed in accordance with applicable electrical installation requirements.
