Designed to protect the potentially dangerous electricity supply in the most arduous of conditions, the Storm range of IP rated weatherproof wiring accessories offer the best solution to safe outdoor power. The Storm 2 Gang 13 amp Socket is IP66 rated for protection against water ingress. It has a robust, high impact UV stable switch housing for protection and safety. The storm Socket is easy to install. It has clearly marked terminals with backed out captive screws. There is a choice of cable entries on four sides of the housing to cover all cable entry requirements. There are 2 rubber wall fixing seal covers to ensure protection against water ingress. (Please Note: Wall fixings are not supplied). All cable entries in the four sides have removable blanking caps. There is also a drill out entry on the rear face. A choice of 2 Earth terminals are located inside the mounting box for ease of installation and safety. The housing is customer configurable - It will also accept alternative socket modules from the BG Grid range of wiring accessories. Optional pad locking feature - (pad lock not supplied)
