The 18W LED Driver Transformer is a compact electronic power supply designed for compatible 12V MR16, MR11 and G4 LED light bulbs. Providing a regulated 12V DC output, it offers a practical replacement for suitable conventional low-voltage transformers when upgrading an existing lighting installation to LED.

The driver connects to a 220–240V AC 50/60Hz mains input and supports an LED load from 0.5W up to a maximum of 18W. This operating range makes it suitable for a variety of low-wattage LED lighting configurations, provided the combined connected load remains within the driver's specified capacity.

Measuring approximately 90mm long × 40mm wide × 20mm high, the compact housing is designed for installations where available space may be limited. Its small dimensions make it suitable for use with compatible recessed lighting, cabinet lighting and other low-voltage LED applications using MR16, MR11 or G4 lamps.

The manufacturer specifies a maximum ambient temperature of 50°C and maximum case temperature of 75°C. Appropriate ventilation and installation conditions should therefore be maintained to help keep the driver within its specified operating temperatures.

Before installation, confirm that the connected LED lamps require a 12V DC supply and that their combined wattage falls within the driver's 0.5–18W output range. This driver should be installed as part of a suitable electrical lighting system.
